I knew before I started that photographing fireworks required preparation and a lot of luck. These pictures were shot from a tripod. The camera was set to Bulb and pre-focused it to infinity. I operated the camera using a wired remote to minimize vibration as much as possible. I took about 250 photos and kept 24. Not bad for a first attempt.
Camera: Canon 5D set to F8 ISO 100 Lens: EF 24-70mm lens w/a UV filter attached.
